Class 1's Assembly

The children in class 1 showed their parents and the rest of the school the exciting things they had been doing in some of their lessons. In literacy they had been following the animated story of Speedy The Swift who flew to England and befriended a little girl called Tilly. The children then wrote a new ending to their stories and were then able to use the laptops to make their very own animated stories using sound effects and animation. The children also performed their dances they had been learning with Mrs Murrell. They danced  to music pretending they were  a seed growing into a plant, battling the weather from different seasons. Each group had different ideas and movements. A lovely assembly enjoyed by everybody.
