Dick Whittington ad his Cat

On Friday 15th january we went by coach to the Cambridge Arts Theatre to see Dick Whittington and his Cat.  Once everyone was seated the Pantomime started.  There was a fairy on stage and she started talking about London when suddenly there was a flash of green light and out of the corner  King Rat appeared.

He started talking about how he was going to take over London, but the fairy told him that he never would.  Then Tommy the cat was called to see the rat off.  After that the story unfolded about how Dick Whittington became Lord Mayor of London.

My favourite part was when I was chosen to go on stage and sing the second part of the song.  It was very embarrassing!

I also liked the part where the rat pack were dancing to Thriller and the King Rat had a sparkly glare.

Grace Kelvin

On Friday 15th  we went to see Dick Whittington,  At the start fairy Beau Belle was in a London Clockhouse tower when suddenly King Rat appeared and swore he would be Lord Mayor of London.

My favourite part was probably when Jack and Sarah were on the ship in the kitchen slipping about and every time Jack looked out of the window water splashed on his face and every time Sarah looked out the window nothing happened!

Also, because it was Grace Kelvin's birthday, she got to go on stage and do a very funny dance with three other children.

My favourite character was Sarah because she was really funny especially when she dressed up as Kim from 'I'm a Celebrity get me out of here!

I thought this pantomime was hilarious and incredible to watch.
