Julia BrownAssistant Teacher, Reception Julia works in Early Years with Miss Smith. She has two children at Great Sampford, one in Class 2, and one in Class 3. She also has a child at County High. Julia lives in Cornish Hall End with husband Gary who teaches at Ashdon Primary School. Julia likes reading,sewing, August, curries and chocolate. She dislikes football, butterbeans and T.V.soaps!

Jane KingstonAssistant Teacher, Class 1 Jane works in Class 1 with Mrs King. She has three children at Saffron Walden County High School. Jane lives in Finchingfield with her children. Her favourite thing to eat is chocolate especially chocolate covered brazils. She loves to watch any cooking programme except those with Gorden Ramsey. Pumpkin is one of her favourite words and most of the children in class 1 have this as their nickname! She loves spending time cooking especially making cakes. |

Gemma LaidlerAssistant Teacher, Class 2 and 3 Miss Laidler lives in Little Sampford. She has one daughter who is at the County High School . Gemma works in Class 1 in the mornings and Class 2 in the afternoons. In her spare time she likes to take her mad labrador puppy for long country walks. |

Christine HaleAssistant Teacher, Class 3 Chris has lived in the village for over 15 years and her daughter attends Saffron Walden County High School. She joined us in 2001 and works primarily in Class 3. Chris also works as a Midday Assistant and is the staff liaison officer to the School Council. Chris is also secretary for Youth Club. Chris's favourite T.V. programme is Country File. She has very strong views on the countryside and the progression of farming. She has her own menagerie - 25 animals and counting. She has strong eco beliefs and has sent nothing to landfill for 18 months! She enjoys reading crime novels and biographys. The person she would most like to be stranded with, would be Ray Mears!! |

Beverly MitchellLearning Support Assistant, Class 2 Beverly lives in Steeple Bumpstead with Colin and their son Andrew who goes to the local school. She works with Mrs Hamilton and Mrs Garnier in Class 2 in the morning and with with Mrs Cowell in Class 3 in the afternoon. Likes - Corrie, orange smarties and long walks on cold days. Dislikes mice, rats, gerbils, brussel sprouts and Eastenders. |

Heather LanderAdmin Officer & ICT Coordinator Heather lives in Steeple Bumpstead with her husband Richard and their two children; William and Hannah. She has worked at Great Sampford school since 1998 in various roles across the school. Heather is Harrison Fords biggest fan prefers him as Indiana Jones to Han Solo, she actually cried when he was frozen for two years in Stars Wars! Heather likes to down load podcasts from the radio to keep up with favourite programmes (radio 4 ha ha!) |
