Welcome from Miss Reis

Welcome to our school. It is a great privilege to be the Head Teacher here, and I am very proud of the achievements and progress our children make each and every day.

At Great Sampford, we have a fantastic ethos as the teaching team believe that every child needs to be happy before they are ready to learn. We care a great deal about the wellbeing of all the children, parents, carers and staff at our school.  

The children at our school are; polite, happy, caring, kind, hard-working and fun. Every day at school is a joy and a pleasure for me because I get to work with a fantastic group of children. 

All of our staff are passionate and work hard to ensure the best possible quality of education for all the children. We regularly celebrate children’s successes and achievements – and enjoy seeing each of them progress with their learning in their own way.

I am a teaching head and work in Swift Class (Years 3/4) two days a week. This has helped me to see the children in action day-to-day and I can often be seen teaching around the school too. My biggest passion is teaching and that's what a Head Teacher should do. 

We are a school at the heart of the Sampford villages, and we work incredibly hard with the wider community to ensure the school continues to be that centre.
